Over the past year, we have witnessed rapid geopolitical shifts, stronger domestic priorities in the United States, and new questions about multilateral cooperation (UN/WHO). This provides a valuable backdrop for discussing how the Nordic countries and Europe can strengthen cooperation, preparedness, and competitiveness within the pharmaceutical and MedTech industries – while maintaining a constructive relationship with the United States.

The program is divided into three sections:

  • Drug prices, production, and new innovations
  • Diversity & MedTech – particularly challenges for companies that are dependent on American cloud solutions
  • Conversation on geopolitics and diplomacy – with Kåre R. Aas (former ambassador to the U.S., Afghanistan, and Israel) and Adam Cwejman (political editor at Göteborgs-Posten)

Practical Information:

  • Date: Thursday, November 6.
  • Doors open at 15.30, event starts at 16.00. There will be an informal gathering with the panel for those attending the event in Stockholm
  • Format: 75 minutes as well as mingling and light refreshments
